I am a photographer from Hannover, Germany, who has been working intensively in the field of street and minimal photography since 2016.
My work has won several awards and been published in print and online magazines.
I see myself first as a street photographer who wants to document his environment. I am less interested in showing certain characters on the streets. I would rather document the light, the colours and the forms of the urban landscape in relation to the human being.
Minimalist photography is becoming increasingly important to me. Both genres influence each other. I like the challenge to show what I see, and to concentrate on the important elements to create a tension in the picture.
I especially like abstract photography, it makes me understand my environment as a graphic construct that I can take apart and put together anew.
